Mayor Seth Fleetwood's First Day
Thursday - January 2nd
7:30am - 9:00am
Starts at Tony's Coffee House - 7:30am
1101 Harris Ave, Fairhaven
Ends at Cafe Velo 8:30am

Ride with Bellingham's new mayor, Seth Fleetwood, on his FIRST day of work. This is a celebration of bicycles, and an opportunity to socialize with Mayor Fleetwood.
First, we'll socialize at
Tony's Coffee
.
Riveters Collective will provide drip coffee
!
Next, we ride. We'll meet at the
Fairhaven Village Green
- feel free to join here. Depending on attendance and conditions, we will either take the South Bay Trail OR State Street to downtown, left on Holly Street, right on Commercial Street, left on Lottie street. That last part can be stressful on a bike, but we will take the lane.
Third, we'll arrive at
Bellingham City Hall
around 8:30. Come cheer on our new mayor as he assumes responsibility for increasing bicycle mode share from 4% to 12% in the next few years.
Finally, after we drop the mayor at his new job, finish up at
Cafe Velo
to network with micro-mobility advocates and bike lovers.
(Breakfast snacks provided by Walk-Bike-Bus Bellingham.)
