our North Puget Sound Bike Alliance partner clubs to 

2018's HIDDEN GEMS RIDE #2!!

Meet across the street from the Everett Transit Station 3201 Smith Ave Parking at 9:30 am for sign-ins and info for a 10 am departure. Be aware of signed restricted parking areas. There are restrooms and water in Everett Station.

Optional post-ride coffee/meal at Scuttlebutt Brewing - Restaurant and Pub , 1205 Craftsman Way #101, Everett, WA 98201.  Seating on a first-come/first-served basis.

Brisk Pace: (16-18mph). 

Route travels across Ebey Island to Eastern Snohomish county past 4 country lakes. Bring snacks & two water bottles as it most likely will get warm. There are two small country stores where water and some food items are available for purchase.

Moderate Pace (14-16mph).

Loop ride on roads and parts of the Centennial Trail through Snohomish River valley and communities of Snohomish, Machias, and Lake Stevens. Brief restroom stops with water. Bring your own snacks.

Steady Pace:  (12-14mph). No drop ride!  

Ride through the Snohomish River valley to Snohomish, Machias, and Lake Stevens. We may see some wildlife, and definitely some beautiful Snohomish County scenery. Dress for the weather, and please remember sun screen, water, and a light lunch.

Social Pace: (10-12mph).  No drop ride!   

Gems of Everett: Explore some of Everett's "Hidden Gems" starting from the transit station.  Ride south along the new riverfront trail and then onto the Interurban for a short stretch. Head into Mukilteo for a rest stop at the Rosehill Senior Center.  Ride by (and possibly stop) at some of the scenic overviews looking out onto Port Gardner Bay, roll by historic Rucker Mansion, see some of the grand old homes on Grand Avenue, and ride along the new Mill Town Trail to Pigeon Creek on the waterfront! Bring water, snack or light lunch. Expect the ride to last at least 3 to 3 ½ hours with stops.
