For this skill and ability building ride, riders new to group riding are encouraged to start attending this ride early in the season, which typically begins in late March or early April.

During April and May we "Ramp-up" to better group riding skills. In June and beyond, there is more riding and less instruction.

As the season proceeds, riders become more skilled and the pace often picks up a little in each group. If you want to join this ride later in the season, it‘s a good idea to contact the ride leader - we can try to hook you up with a group-ride buddy to get you caught up.

Please read the detailed description if you are not familiar with this ride.

We cycle from Sedro-Woolley to Concrete to frolic at the Concrete Fly-in - a classic airplane show in scenic, mountainous Concrete, WA. In addition to touring the scenic small town, you can check out the planes at the air strip where there are some food vendors (think burgers from the Lion‘s Club); or take lunch in town where there is a diner, a gluten-free bakery, and ice cream! The main ride goes up the Cascade Trail, but this year, we‘re looking to expand the ride for more committed riders, so we‘ll post more details about how riders can participate at different levels once we finalize the plans and organize the Ride Leaders. Mark your calendars!! This is a fun one!
