About this event
Ride a loop from Bloedel Donovan in the east to Mosquito Lake Road in the west. Lake Whatcom Blvd through Sudden Valley does not always have a shoulder and is best traveled against the commute, e.g., south in the morning. The portion on Route 9 is short and has a good shoulder and boasts excellent views of the Twin Sisters. Mosquito Lake Rd is the star of the show -- super quiet, good surface, and interesting, but largely forested, views. It starts with a short, steep climb. Mt Baker Highway is utilized for only short sections with a good shoulder.
