Join us for a double-loop ride starting at the Alger Park and Ride. The ride is 27 miles with a 900 ft elevation gain. We'll be riding 10-15 mph, at a social pace. The ride is all paved, and we'll be sharing the roads with automobiles. We'll stick together, wait at the turns, and regroup frequently. Bring a bicycle capable of making the ride. Be prepared to be self-sufficient for any mechanical issues you encounter, i.e. flat tires, etc. Bring water, a snack if you wish, and of course a helmet. We'll stop by the Bakery in Bow ~mile 19. We expect the ride to be about 3 hours long. There are several places along the route with sani-can restroom facilities as well as restrooms at the gas station near the start.
To get to the Alger Park and Ride travel South on I-5 to exit 240. Cross over the freeway to the East, and look for the park and ride on the right side, just after the gas station. Meet at 12:20 for a 12:30 departure.
